character illustrations for publishing

This is another addition, this post includes 2d vector art content illustrations for publishing or games. It was great to initially sketch and then recreate them into this type of illustrations. I also like the bold modern colours that match this type of content. This is facing and then a side up as well.
I like the expression on its face!

Publishing illustrations

This is another illustration for publishing projects. This is just an illustration for publishing media. This is for fiction and the characters are not a resemblance just imaginative. I see a lot of illustrative publications which is great. It seems that illustrations are in fashion for this type of content.

Publishing illustrations

This is a publishing style illustration. This has been made in a certain decorative style using bright colours and some texture to add some depth. It was great to try this style too while adding some more detail.

What is this character trying to say? It seems to be in a great mood smiling which can never be a bad thing at least for me. I am happy to see people smiling and especially the characters I create. This is not dependent to any “obscure and scary weathermen”.

Going beyond any of this, this is just a simple picture book style publishing character. The design is flat with some thicker strokes and sprinkles of colours that are pleasant. This could be a fashion illustration as well, despite the fact that this is not really a human character.

Hyvää päivää

This is another illustration of a character illustration! This time this character says something pleasant like Hyvää päivää! Who doesn’t want to have a hyvää päivää? Most of us like to just have a good day!

Just Hyvää päivää! In this illustrative style that I have made and seems to be popular with game style apps. Beautiful day! Never let it take your smile away!

Another verse and another way to converse! No way of turning and no way of doing what he says! It it my life at stake or did I just make my last and fatal mistake? Did I really illustrate? I shall get punished for living, this is someone’s way of giving.

Another verse, another way to converse. What will the next day bring, a character I made? Will I be found dead like someone’s bad maid? Did it resemble, did it resemble? How dare I draw and post a post without getting someone’s filthy hairs on my toast!

Just saying. Did I just really speak? Oh my…..

Publishing illustrations

This is a publishing illustration. This character seems to be saying something. Perhaps it could be:

‘Good morning can I help you? sorry I don’t quite grasp what you are currently saying?’ ‘Could you please perhaps repeat? I don’t seem to have a clue about what you mean?’ What do you mean? Could we perhaps arrange something again so that I can hear you better? Thank you!

It was great to do this one including this style and was happy with how the face expression came out of it too!

Publishing illustrations

This is an isometric style illustration of a non real character, this time more visible from this point and have included some decorative art style pieces on the sides, in order to make this composition more interesting. This does not show a person, it is an imaginative illustration and just some fictional character with anthropomorphic features, despite of it being a penguin like creature! I could go on forever adding to it but maybe keeping it a bit more simple is better.

Publishing illustrations

This is a publishing illustration for publishing content or online media. A simple digital painting style for learning new words if you are learning a new language for example! This is also available as an internal illustration or a poster download of limited editions on my art licensing site

An owl sees it all

during the night

when the sneakster comes in

trouble is waiting for him

the owl sees it all

protects the weak

and wishes you a great week!

Instructional illustrations

This is another part of the previous instructional isometric illustration. I have kept the same imaginative character and colours and isometric style, although here it is not very visible but the illustration has been aligned to this type of structure, to make it look the same part of the instructions, while continuing with the description that accompanies the illustration.

Media illustrations

This is an isometric style media style icon illustration mostly with beauty and style oriented colour selection. I have obtained the isometric balance on it, while being a little more freed up in terms of shapes and shades in the making of this imaginative character.

What could it be while it’s a cat, it’s not an owl, it’s not a bunny but is still has some features from all of that!
